Story:
Jana and Pavel met for the first time in Vienna in 2011 at Booking.com. They were assigned to boost the company’s growth and execute the strategy in CEE countries. Pavel started to work on the Czech market, Jana looked into growth for Slovakia.
Later they left the Vienna office, and both assigned on different tasks. Jana moved to Thailand where she started to build the operation hub for south-east Asia. Next to it, she also overlooked hotel chains in the region.
Pavel moved to Budapest to set up the office and the local team. They stayed in contact and over the years came to a point to discuss further options in their careers. Boataround.com was born on these discussions and both left their jobs at Booking.com and moved to Bratislava, Slovakia.
